I'm slowly losing my hearing, and I gotta say I'm kinda pumped about the secret language aspect, despite not being in preschool anymore.

Haha you might be surprised. Hearing loss is a gradual thing.

I was born with "normal-ish" hearing but it dropped to around 30-40% loss by my 20's. I never noticed it happening; I thought everyone had trouble hearing the teacher in class or hearing someone that wasn't sitting nearby.
