I have been headache free for about 7 years; hang in there guys. You are spot on about other people not being able to understand the level and type of pain.

The common belief is that eventually Cluster Headaches just stop. When I was first "diagnosed" I was told that that Cluster Headaches are relatively unstudied, but that in most cases they just recede.

I know Lithium is sometimes suggested as a treatment but I did not go that route.
