I remember an interview with some Canadian buisness people. When the then PM flew to the US and told Bush that Canada wasn't that interested in the invasion this buisness person noted that a plane load of Canadian buisness people were soon in DC to help see how their business could still profit. To.me it highlighted that soft corruption that plagues our political system where buisness interest can work behind the scenes to promote a cause (like an illegal war) despite the people's will.
