On your Swazi gold episode you mentioned a friend who had gone insane from eating too many mushrooms, care to shed some light on that story or what you think is going on with that phenomenon? What do you think it means? Is there anyway to resolve it?

The whole subject fascinates me because there's a local in my hometown that completely "fried his brain" by taking acid and talked a lot about aliens/entities (as do many indigenous peoples and frequent users of DMT) , and of course the famous and tragic story of Syd Barrett.
