What I did is go to bestbuy and just buy a modem by itself, wasn't too expensive, then just hook up the modem to your own wireless router. Send their shitty combo back. I have Comcast so I had to call them and add my modem, the plus side to this is, 1. You will have probably a faster setup with your own stuff. And 2. You don't have to pay the modem rent that most places charge you!
