This is possible-ish with an ileostomy after eating gas-producing foods. The bag fills up with stool and air, and the "air" can be quite pungent. With most ileostomies you can "burp" the bag and let some air out of the top as the appliances go together kinda like Tupperware.

In some cases, some people will be limited to wearing a bag - those who are obese (anatomically doesn't allow the small intestine to stretch down to connect to the rectum), and those who had rectal cancer requiring radiation as that can render the sphincter control useless.
