Firstly, sorry that this happened to you. It's fucked up beyond belief.

1) Today at school, we were talking about the shooting when someone mentioned that in the UK we have literally no school shootings whatsoever. We came to the conclusion that it's because there are strict gun laws. What's your opinion on the USA gun laws?

2) I know it sounds cringe but if a shooting ever happened at my school, I tell myself I'd rather die trying to overpower the shooter than in a corner trying to hide. Did you ever think this or did you change your mind once the situation occurred?

3) At my school, we think the lock down procedure is absolutely terrible. We turn the lights off, lock the door (doors have to be kept unlocked except for lock downs) and hide at the back of the room. Us students tried to explain to the school that taking our stuff off of the desks, turning the interactive whiteboard off and getting into the corner (the one like you did) would be better but we get basically told to shut up. What's your lock down procedure like and what's your opinion on mine?

Finally, I understand that this is a controversial question so if you don't want to answer, simply don't; I just want to understand. If you could relive the situation, would you do anything differently?
