In australia its not necessarily about fooling ourselves that criminal wont get guns, this just makes it harder. But generally criminals have reason, and dont go randomly about causing mass shootings. Ive heard it said before (even if you dont agree with it), that in general criminals are more likely to shoot other criminals (example) )

gun control is more about keeping a potential mass death device out of the hands of psychos, with either a grudge against society or want to go down in a blaze of glory.

I think the sooner americans realises this, the sooner they will be safer from one another ....

Everything else aside, this is the resolution and reform that gives me hope. Relationships are the ultimate test in your conflict resolution abilities. So all the best for the next try mate !
