Penn is one of the highest rated 16 seeds we've had in the past few years and Kansas may be missing (or have limited availability from) one of its best players (Azibuke). Not saying anyone should pick it, but can you see Penn Kansas as being one of the better shots in the last few years at that illusive 16 seed upset?

I've seen that they are expecting him back, but that's different than him being at 100% which is why I threw in the "limited availability" part

Is there a measurable effect of non-random number choices on EV due to increased or reduced odds of splitting a jackpot. For example, I’d have to imagine your EV goes way down if you play the “Lost” lottery numbers, since there’s likely a few other people who did it. On a larger scale, is there data available on number choice? Like are numbers above 31 better to avoid people who play birthdays and kids ages? Are there enough people who are contrarian to that strategy to even things out? Is it just that some ridiculously high percentage are quick picks so it doesn’t matter much?
