I used to work in a newsroom where Reddit was mentioned in every staff meeting as a way to generate traffic. The company was strategically using Reddit to generate revenue through "organic" vote manipulation. How prevalent do you think this is and how much of what we see on sites like Reddit is truly organic vs. artificially curated by big media companies to get us to see what they want us to see?

Seriously. You can be left-wing and still think AOC is naiive and idealistic. There's idealism and then there's the reality of what can be done. Some of us on the left are just more practical than others. Also, they way AOC has been branding herself is never going to help her accomplish things in the future, because she's only appealing to the hard, far left. Conservatives literally think she's crazy, which doesn't help her causes at all.

Maybe this is a stupid question, but what exactly is a "Jewish court"? Does "Jewish law" somehow trump federal law regarding divorces? Because if not and this is in the U.S., why does it matter what "Jewish court" says at all?

I'm less interested in how well-funded they are than I am in who's funding them. They've been investigating since 2014 and they send reporters around the country for interviews, yet no one's ever heard of them. How are they able to do the work they do yet produce so little that they're not even on the radar news-wise? They're obviously not making money through ad sales.

I'm actually pretty shocked that she's gotten away with this so clean. It's like it never happened.
