Hi Jon!

Thank you so much for doing this AMA. MANY people on Reddit love your work. I have to say that I'm a big fan of Archer (the show but also the character, I think I have a secret crush on Sterling Archer... ugh, is that weird?), and I love Bob's Burgers. Thank you for your talent, which makes those TV shows so great.

I had a question:
After watching a lot interviews, I have noticed that many actors and voice actors feel very "distant" from their characters, or on the contrary, feel like these characters are an extension of themselves. How do you personally feel about Archer and Bob? Can you totally relate to them, or does it feel strange to hear them talking with your voice?

I apologize for my not-so-great english, and thank you, again, for taking the time to chat with us and answering our questions.

edit: And please, never stop saying "Lana... Lanaaa... LAAANAAAA". This always cracks me up.

Hi Sofia! Thank you for doing this AMA. I am a young woman who aspires to work in the movie industry, particularly as a writer and a director. However, I am very shy. Do you think I could succeed as a director in spite of my shyness?

Well, I can only hope I will prove you wrong :)

Hi Ewan! I have been a fan of your acting since I was a child (you were the perfect Obi-Wan!), and I've always admired you a lot for your humanity and your open-mindedness. Keep fighting the good fight! :)

I'm an 19-year-old french woman, and an aspiring director, so I was wondering... what do you expect from a director, as an actor? Do you want to be told exactly what to do, and do you expect the director to give you precise directions, or do you prefer directors who leave you a sort of performance freedom, and let you shape your character?
