Why do you think junior doctors have mobilised so quickly and easily in comparison to nurses and admin staff who have had similar or often far worse changes imposed on them? It is simply that these changes have been doled out on a trust by trust basis so it's more difficult to organise resistance or is there another problem. Similarly why have junior doctors not raised concerns about the problems faced by their fellow works in other professions in the NHS?

Thanks for the response, I didn't mean to imply that junior docs aren't supportive, merely that there hasn't been an organised response from them. The problem seems to be that the really crazy stuff happens in individual trusts like what Barts has done at whipps cross.

I read Billy Bragg's article on the Guardian website today and it reminded me of something I've been wondering for a while, do you think a progressive left wing British nationalist movement is possible or desirable in the UK?

Edit: Also some friends of mine are making a documentary on the referendum for Exeter University, could they get an interview?
