Not really a question. I just want to thank you for this. I was a passenger in a car struck by a seventeen year old who was too busy texting and wound up t-boning us.

Fortunately we all survived with no "serious" injuries, but it ended my profession paintball career. (my ankle was completely blown spent almost three months on crutches, still have them as a silent reminder)

While your story is a sad one, you may honestly be saving lives here. (and ankles) Thank you for this.

Edit: bah didn't mean to comment to you, meant to comment to OP

While beurocracy, insurance companies, and all the paperwork (dear god the paperwork) related to medics care move slow, doctors taking life saving action does not.

Who up at the ER with a sniffle, you'll wait hours to be seen. Show up at the ER with a cracked skull or anything that should be inside you outside, you'll be in surgery before you know what's even going on. (which isn't surprising as in both cases your body is likely both in shock and pumping you full if damn near every hormone it has in a desperate attempt to heal something well beyond it's abilities)

I've worked with emts when I was in college. You hear stories that just burn themselves into your mind, and you realize no matter how hard it is to hear those stories, it pales in comparison to those who partook in them... Having to begin surgery in the back of an ambulance because they wouldn't survive long enough to get to the hospital without it... People felt I should consider being a surgeon because of my dexterity and control of my hands as a teen... I could never do it. The stress of keeping a business on it's feet cam be near crippling, but someone's life? :/ I like to think I'm stronger than most, but I'm not that strong.

Yep :/ our medical situation will remain this nightmare until we can pry insurance's cold dead fingers from our doctors. Until that happens it'll be the same disgusting situation with a different name.

No where near pro, but it's always fun to come up with a strat that is so effective it's responded to directly with nerf, even more so when you're one of the only people using said strat, and as far as you can tell it's creator. Congrats man!

Why not both? Check out codeschool.com and try their free python and free rails course, see what you think and go from there. Also a little birdy told me all of code school will be free from 5pm EST 3/4 to midnight 3/6.

And by birdy I mean in our company stand up because I work for codeschool. ;) even if you don't use code school do yourself a favor and never stop learning.
