Do you plan on keeping the excess money? I think you should keep the excess and stop adding stretch goals beyond the 3k mark. People backed this knowing it was a joke, so they should have no problem with you keeping the excess money as you never promised them anything more than the stuff up to your 3k stretch goal. Do not donate the excess to charity because people could have donated to charity if they really wanted to.

You deserve to keep the excess money in this campaign. Do not feel under any moral obligation to add more stretch goals or to use up every dollar backed. Anyone who backed this and then who would turn around to complain about you keeping the excess would be hypocrites. They backed the campaign knowing full well it was a joke, so would have no grounds to complain about it.

Can you transcribe music by ear or do you require sheet music? I don't know much about the technical aspects of music but my friend said being able to transcribe music by ear is a pretty hard and godly ability.
