I saw an article once suggesting a lot of former military that go into private security abuse steroids. The article gave the impression of a jacked up, reckless subculture of alpha persona's. I've known only a few ex military in security and it couldn't be further from the truth, but I have no real insight.

Is this alleged stereo type accurate at all?

But they don't quote Keynes' next statement which is, after the economy picks up, return government spending to its original level.

I think I quote that about 3 times a week on reddit, and few get it.

The country also was in a very unique position industry wise following WWII. Our infrastructure was not destroyed like many other first world countries. We held a lot of influence around the world. We had education and technological advantages. Many of those advantages are eroding. Essentially, we were in a lot better position to grow than now.

It's not the same now by any stretch.
