Oh now I realize that I made an unintentional pun. Sorry to OP.

It wasn't intentional. What I don't get is why would people assume I was really joking just because there was an unintentional pun.

1- Not wanting a human to suffer is understood as lack of empathy on your part. Good logic. That actually means I DO have empathy not that I lack it. Bad judgement on your part and quite assholish to call me names.

2- You are right it is mercy. That's what's it's all about actually and letting the baby live is NOT.

3- It's technically killing. Murder is killing with MALICE intent and this is not the case. This, like you said, is mercy.

I wouldn't call a "disabled vet" crippled because a disabled vet has feelings, a newborn baby that wasn't born correctly and had to be euthanized doesn't. How did you think this is a good analogy is beyond me. I know what's like to be insulted, made fun of, bullied, so I emphasize with people who have any of these happening to them. So no, I wouldn't call a vet crippled or a person with autism a retard. That isn't only lack of empathy that's total asshole behavior.

I did not think it would hurt the parents because I wouldn't feel offended or hurt myself. I'd have no connection or feelings to a newborn that was meant to be euthanized. There's no chance to build any I would not grieve in the slightest. If my 5 years old son died I would feel devastated. See the difference? It's clear.

Child is one thing and a baby that's born like this and was meant to be euthanized is different as I said. Not sure why can't you recognize the difference i'm pointing at. No I don't have autism I'm good with people and everyone in my life loves me.
