I just saw that movie, and I genuinely laughed my ass off for most of it. I understand that people had a hard time looking past the juvenile tone of the bits, but I like to view it more as a bit of performance art. I mean you had fucking Kate Winslet and Hugh Jackman doing a bit about a guy with a full on ball sack on his chin. That to me is the real punchline.

The humor was in these capital A Actors having to pull off a script that may have well been written by a 12 year old. To Kate's credit, I thought she did an awesome job.

I feel the same way about this movie as I do when watching Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job. I derive the humor from imagining what the hell is going on on the set, with T&E trying to explain what it is they want from these people, who I assume must be thinking "This is my big break, I just have to call someone 'Mr. Drizible' and smile with half my mouth, then I'll be in the big time".

The Home-schooled short was a an excellent premise and executed to perfection.

The truth or dare skit was meh for the most part, with the exception of making Halle Berry mash a prosthetic tit into a bowl of guacamole. However, this is one of the funniest things I've ever seen in my life. I was full on cry-laughing every time Stephen Merchant's stupid Asian face appeared on screen.

I thought it was funny as hell, and you should've gotten more praise, or at least less hate, for the thing.

How does the engineer not know that modern chest freezers use the exterior sheet metal to radiate heat?

There are already tons of libraries available. Most of them are already attached to a replicating bacteria. Just order em up and let them reproduce.

I know you're gone now, but mayhap someday you'll log back in to the ole reddits and see this.

Cancer Boy has stuck with me for years on end. Any time someone asks about how things are going etc, and I'm just tired of having to make social niceties, they get "Every day is a gift" in my best Bruce voice. 95% of the time, I can tell they just endured something surreal in their lives as they politely move on. The other 5% is a new/deeper special relationship, because they too know the struggle of Cancer Boy.

I adore Kids in the Hall, and on behalf of my sister: Hey hey hey! Look at me. I'm a flying pig. What a line up!

Here you go, fine sir. Act Two is probably the root of your woes.
