I dropped out of high school. Returned to night school to get an actual diploma (not a G.E.D.). Went to Naugatuck Valley Community College, transferred to Columbia University, and then graduated from the Georgetown University Law Center. Pausing short of a high school diploma is no bar to higher education of any level.

Is it me, or is the "one Firstname Lastname" construction an automatic tell that the writer has a legal background?

Hi Wavy! I first met you at the Wetlands Preserve, down in one of the lower rooms. You were perfectly you--telling magical stories and plinking sounds on a Casio-like keyboard to a bunch of hallucinagenically enhanced heads. A few years later my Uncle bought me a copy of Something Good for a Change. Many many years later, I read that book to my son. He wrote his first letter to you! (You even signed it at Vibes and it's hanging on his wall.) Thank you so much for touching my life and having such a profound impact on who I am and what I do.

Is there a Wavy Gravy for the next generation?

From a salesperson's perspective, what's the best way to receive a compliment? A letter to the store or to corporate? Quick paragraph with just the basics or a longer, more detailed letter?

Thank you so much for doing the Vibes thing. I want to print custom marshmallows that say "Hey you---stop and listen to what Wavy's saying!" and hand them out. Either it will work and more people will realize that the appearance of rambling stories hides epic insights or people will say, "hey, free marshmallo--thanks!"
