Why not poach the traffickers? Maybe even convince people that traditional Chinese medicine contains trafficker pelts or ground up poacher testicles, etc?

I believe the term to be 'long pig'?

Was in the same situation in 2005, we lost our son at 7 months IIRC.

I hope you and your wife are doing ok?

I feel your pain, the sadness is always with me, but does get easier to handle over time. It caused a permanent change and downward spiral in our lives, which if I am honest, we never recovered from. It did serious damage to our relationship that we have never got back. We are still together, but we are not the same as we were.

The fact that it is such a taboo or akward subject for people to discuss compounds the issues because you feel that no-one wants to listen, not because they don't care but because it is too upsetting.

My wife developed a chronic illness (Lupus and Antiphospholipid syndrome) that either caused, or was caused by, the loss and surrounding trauma (staff incompetence, complications, severe blood loss and birth trauma which I don't really want to detail). So although we went through the grieving process, she is still suffering today along with the joy of it being degenerative so day by day it gradually gets worse.

The best advice to anyone in this situation I can give, is do not isolate yourselves, do not blame yourselves OR each other! "What if..." guilt will envelop you and drag you down.

You are not alone!
