If you were only the body/actions of Barney, how did the personal interactions with fans go (e.g. fan meet and greet)?

Did the voice actor have to follow you around to interact with the fans while you motioned around?

Or did your character just remain silent and act through expression alone?

If you're not familiar with it already, you should read up on the eruv in New York City. Based on your comment, you may be interested in it.

There are probably many other eruvs, but I initially became aware of this entire concept through some podcast.

It is basically a loophole (also, literally fishing line) which creates a boundary in the city (think something similar to power lines on utility poles), enabling the Jews to perform some working tasks within these designated areas.

Were you ever allowed to be out of costume when around the other child actors (e.g. wearing the body suit, without the head).

If so, were they surprised that Barney 'wasn't real'?
