I'm ashamed to ask this, but what's a 'distributor cap'?

A kid in my dorm was a mortician assistant in his small town. He said their arms might 'twitch' sometimes. Like the bottom half, elbow to hand part, might flip up and then back down. It's the electrical wiring of our nervous system still firing long after we're dead, apparently.

He said his boss told him of a time that a dead guy did a full sit up on him. The thought gave me the creeps.

Recently at my local Whataburger a guy in front of me ran into the concrete post shielding the cashier. The car in front of him had pulled forward a minute prior. I was getting close to honking, but a car behind me took care of it for me. The guy woke up and drove straight into that post before proceeding through the line and getting his food. I only know he was asleep because I asked the cashier what was up.
