Hello! You're living history, so thank you for the opportunity you're giving to all of us! My question may sound too morbid too answer, but it's a thing that's always in my mind when I think about all the suffering during the holocaust. With that being said... I've read that humor was used by jews as a coping mechanism in the concentration camps (making jokes even with their hair being shaved and the fake baths in the gas chamber), a way to relieve the tension. Is that true? If so, could you tell some examples of jokes/comments that you remember being used with this purpose? I'm fascinated by the philosophy of humor, specially as a tool for getting through rough times.
