I did not ask the question, but thanks for the thorough answers. I love your work, what I've seen of it so far.

When working with your favorite film size camera, the 12x20, do you tend to stay close to the access roads that got you to an area, or have you figured out some elegant solution to getting your camera and equipment into the harder to access locations? Thank you.

Yes, that definitely helps. Thanks very much for your time. Your approach of keeping it as simple as you can is really interesting to me, and I guess unexpected. But I can see how it would make one much more efficient. Plus, once you find something that seems to be the best you can hope for, why not just go with it, and perfect the results you get with it.
Thank you very much, once again.

Amazing. This is the first I've ever heard of the existence of a 20x24" enlarger. I'm wondering if you still own and use it? If not, it belongs in a museum somewhere. Fairly astonishing the talent you were able to press into service to create the thing. Thanks for your time.

If you could make only one suggestion to someone who is just getting started using large format camera equipment, what would that suggestion be?
