Not OP of course, but I highly recommend getting a solid background in IT before trying to climb up the infosec ladder - a degree in IT, tech management or MIS would probably give you more exposure to various things than a pure cybersecurity degree.

I just got into the field late last year as a SOC analyst and want to improve my future hireability and job searches. What would be some good resume and skill builders that would grab employer's attentions? I'm thinking CISSP/IS2 Associates but am unsure overall about what would help.

How much content do you see edited out, that you wish could have stayed in? Conversely.. any good stuff the viewers never got to see?
