My vacation trip to Portland was the first time I had to dodge human poo on sidewalks. Great city, but the homeless is a nasty problem. A year or two ago a runner girl was stabbed multiple times by a homeless teenager because he was cold and wanted to go to jail to get inside. He waited for the cops to arrive.

Are you only studying the "why"? I know many of us who suffer are also interested in treatments. Personally my baseline stress level affects my tolerance to nasty sounds. More stress, less it takes to set me off.

Is there protection or information available on his location when he is released after his upcoming sentence? I don't think you want to lose track of him.
