I once read that the name Lee Child was commercially deliberate: Lee can be either Male or female so could appeal to any airport bookshelf browser and Child because it's a very familiar, safe and comfortable word.

I'd interested to know which explanation is correct, this or the wiki.. Sorry I can't find the other source.

(I seem to remember it saying something about the airport market being a key target, hence the easy-read style and short choppy sentences)

With the rotational movement thing, do you text with your finger-thumbs or is it easier with your finger-fingers?
