Aubrey, after a while of Anonymous trending, I saw the internet ask for Anonymous to take out/hack/ go after certain groups on the regular.

Was there one in particular favorite request or one that stood out among all the crazy requests?

It takes about 40-50 minutes to unload a 777/787. IME/IMHO.

2 pits, international flights include cargo.

The biggest challenge is that the bags are containerized, so the cans(ULDs) come off but then have to be manually unloaded. Additionally, flights arrive in banks, so unless your fight landed first or the airport has the space. Often bottlenecks to the claim areas then re-spreads out to individual claims, that adds 10ish min.

Then, the actual unloading of the cans, 40-55 bags per can depending on stack efficiency and bag size. (We had bikes heading to France, and we got 5-6 per can.)

Add short staffing where applicable, and 1-4 guys dumping 200-400 bags takes 20 minutes. Assuming no bags jams on the belt or other misc problems.

So, it's very probable to take 60+ minutes to get bags out.

Not intentional, just a physical limitation and logistical challenge.

Edited to add, in my former station, we needed government permission to start unloading. The permission would trickle through the communication chain slowly sometimes. Passenger s would be off, but inspectors wanted to watch the ramp.

I used to handle bags. The multiple zipper expanding tubes with 4 tiny wheels on the bottom are garbage.

Square ones also suck.

Both mess up the stack pattern and forced me to adjust.

I had always wished on airlines issuing standard bags for use. If all bags were the same, it would be a dream..

Don't get slick hard sided. They slide off or these slide off out of place.

Color can differentiate.

I meant size and shape.

But, overall, this thread is rampy-centric, not passenger-centric. And I am pragmatic in general and know it would be, as you quoted, "a dream."

We would have to watch ourselves on icy snow days. The belt on the loaders would be stiff and have the rubber provide zero grip. Those bags would zoom out at us at times.
