A friend of mine is a headhunter for Tesla Motors. She once forwarded a resume of a Chinese graduate to their engineering department. The head engineer responsible for looking over hires (after HR is done with them) wrote back to her and blatantly said "we don't hire Chinese students or Chinese citizens for fear they will steal technology and leave." It was something along those lines, maybe a bit more subtle maybe not.

So businesses do worry . They usually hire from any country but not china (Tesla that is).

Oddly enough I got a little rush thinking about the experience of:

"There's something about the rush of finally letting go that kicks your motivation into high gear."

Being a person who has always done the mainstream idea of life, I've always wanted to branch out and do what "I" want to do.

That is a major question in itself. One thing I've wanted to do being an avid motorcyclist, is drop everything, sell my car, and buy a very good BMW touring bike. Use that to ride all the way to Patagonia from the United States. I'm not even sure it's possible but I want to do it.

Public service has always been something I've wanted to do, but so is the energy sector. If I could do anything right now for a job it would be energy development. Helping move the United States off of fossil fuels or any detrimental fuel via the process of cleaner power plants and other means. I don't want to build them, I want to work with politicians, investors, and the private sector to get construction going and completed. In 60 years to be able to say I helped usher in a new era of clean, dependent, energy sources for a nation would be amazing. I have no idea where to start as I'm just finishing my degree from a University in Spring. We will see where I go from there.

Thanks for asking!

After living in the 805 for 2 years, I'm sad I never got to check out the brewery. Maybe on my next trip down the 101 I'll do that.
