Thanks for the last bit of your video - that really connected with me.

Aside the mental issues, have you fully recovered from any injury?

Damn, that's horrible. Sky-diving was something I always wanted to pick up as a hobby once I start earning money, since it's a rather costly activity and I like adrenaline rushes. Guess I have to re-think this choice.

How do you cope with the changed circumstances for your life? Are you happy you're still here? Do you sometimes wish you hadn't made it?

Came here to suggest that, too. You need a fresh start. You cannot get a fresh start in the country you're currently in. Move somewhere else, preferably some place where college education is available in English but also cheaper. Check out European Countries. I do not possess any knowledge about which limits are put onto you with regards to relocating to a foreign country but I cannot imagine this being so out of bounds. Estonia is currently actively looking to increase it's start-up culture for example. Staying where you are has made you miserable. Yes, going to somewhere else and starting fresh can seem very intimidating at first. You have little to lose though. Maybe you can even get your mom to move with you. Feels bad to learn how one single mistake can ruin an entire life. Ask me anything you want to know about education in the EU.

No money, no contacts - valid points. no job - this can be dealt with Learning a new language is really not necessary unless he goes to a very remote country. Moving to any one of the major cities in any European country would allow for a. cheap education if he manages to enroll and b. the smaller countries with little to no resources for exporting are very active start-up hubs where he could get a job.
