Honestly, I do not understand how Russia could either interfere or steal the election. Is it considered to be undeniable in the US? Russia stole the election and that's it? But HOW??

OK I'm not u/PoppinKREAM but here goes: The GRU hired individuals to use sites like Reddit, Facebook, Twitter and others to sow disinformation and create divisiveness between the two parties in the United States. They also hacked into voting machines in several states, allowing them to manipulate, cancel or change votes.

Your assertion that Trump should be making friendly steps towards Russia was not the goal of this campaign. The goal was to have him in office because he is weak and would not stand up to Russia's annexation of Crimea or any other Russian aggressiveness.

If you still cannot understand the "how portion" of the election interference question, I can provide you with a reading list of many sources (not just the one.) If you have questions as to why, ask yourself, "Would Putin rather have an easily manipulatable dummy as President of the United States or someone who has a bunch of political experience that wouldn't put up with his bullshit in Syria, Ukraine, Georgia, etc?" I'm pretty sure he thinks he has a puppet on a string with Trump.

As someone that used to do LOD investigations, I always hated having to look at guys who I thought were doing everything right. I'm sorry you had to go through all of this and I'm glad they found in your favor with the LOD.
