BAT is the reward tokens you earn for viewing ads. They are deposited to your browser the 5th of every month at the moment, and after you have them you can use them to tip/pay content creators who have enrolled to do so. Partnerships with soft paywall sites would be a huge win with a BAT per article model.

This needs done asap, I get a lot of redirects to The Guardian from Reddit, and since they are verified they get my tips for articles I enjoy reading. I wish other sites with soft paywalls would implement BAT with the pay per article model. That would be fucking awesome.
