What's your go to story when you were on the police force?

Sounds intense! I know 2 lifetimes ago is a long time to remember but how does one even think under that kind of pressure? Is it all adrenaline fueled? Or is it just crazy tactical thinking and keeping your head? I've only has an unloaded gun pointed at me and I was still pretty fuckin uncomfortable with that lol.
