With winter approaching what is being done to help refugees in Europe cope with severe conditions? How can we help?

In the US we used to have a political party that shared your sort of beliefs; the name 'Know-Nothing' proved quite appropriate. The world isn't ending, Europe will be quite fine, and no races are being wiped out. Quite melodramatic, most of the predictions you people make, in 50 years people will hardly remember any of what's going on now.

There's a very basic difference in outlook between you and me; I frankly am not concerned about the racial, ethnic or religious make-up of my nation. I am not convinced by your predictions of genocide, civil war or anarchy. I grew up in a multi-ethnic community, went to school with people of different races and ethnicity, work with people of different races and ethnicity, and I've honestly never had any issues as a result of it.

It wasn't that long ago that there were large groups in this country warning about the downfall of the United States due to Irish, Jewish, and Chinese immigration. There were plenty of people offering grave warnings about how Catholics were infiltrating the nation, planning to seize power and all that.

It's all fear-mongering bullshit. This is the first world and that's not changing; Europe will manage, and people like you will eventually be left by the wayside.
