Would you say that if humans began building habitats on the Moon and other planets we would have the potential to live for billions of years?

How probable and practical would it be to mine the rare metals found in asteroids?

Are you into theoretical bigger picture universe philosophy and paradoxes? I have a few questions pertaining to that as well but didn't want to overwhelm you.

Alright so I was kinda bored one day and I came up with the thought that it's possible in one day for us to keep the same body and consciousness with every atom in our body being different than the day before, basically due to the law of conservation of energy and mass. Interestingly I also propose this as some form of an answer to the spontaneous combustion mystery due to the fact that some human composition can be explosive and extremely flammable.

Another one is that the universe and multiverse (if you believe in that one) are fractals in essence. Because of the thought that infinity has no limits means that no matter how advanced we get with all of our observation equipment we will always find something further away from us; smaller than the smallest particle currently known; or larger than the largest known thing. This theory I have essentially puts the universe on the scale where anything and everything is possible, and that we can find things completely different or almost exactly the same however there will never be an exact.

These two are just the ones I currently have on my mind. Plenty more where that came from😅
