The role of the WHO in China is an interesting one, particular given the combination of central governmental authority and varying global health risks that seem to originate there.

Obviously the Chinese government is a tad more suspicious of NGOs and similar organizations all together, which doesn't give them a lot of room to maneuver when it comes to tackling health issues. How does the WHO approach global health issues in China, and to what extent does it/can it liaise with the limited boots on the ground?
