I spent a summer in the mountains a little northwest of Teustepe, in the Boaco region. It's pretty amazing country out there, and a very different world.

Have you done any work with Amigos de las Americas? They're generally a few years younger than peace corps workers, but when I was there we ran into a few of you guys before we got sent out to bumfuck nowhere.

Disclaimer: I had a great time in bumfuck nowhere, but the town was 300 people, and didn't have running water or electricity. It was a bit of a change.
