The shorter the trailer, the better. It's sharper, more engaging, and leaves you begging for more (and hopefully you have the discipline to just go see the film, not watch more trailers that ruin it). These almost 3 min long trailers give me the shits.

Subscription or not, Premiere is a damn good editor. I've tried literally a dozen editors and have to admit Premiere is still the best all-rounder.

  1. Why doesn't the film editor make the trailer?
  2. If you are asked to make a trailer, do you generally make all trailers/spots for the film, if they are wanting multiple versions? And do they specify the length required?
  3. Is there a trailer starter pack that comes with useful resources like InceptionHorn.wav, ScaryVersionOfYourFavoriteNurseryRhyme.aac, and FakeOrchestraMusicToMakeFanboysCreamTheirPants mp3? 🤔
