What does having a child have to do with anything? How is that even remotely relevant?

So having a child is a handicap. Got it.

It surprised me that it's a qualifier for every accomplishment. Like, "I did this despite having a kid"! Like you deserve some kind of special recognition for everything you do because you decided to reproduce? GTFO.

It's that kind of entitled thinking that I can't stand. Maybe if the breeders weren't so loud about all the sacrifices they had to make. The sacrifices they CHOSE by deciding to reproduce. It would be like stabbing yourself in the hand and then bragging about how you did a pull-up despite the fact that your hand was injured. Mmkay.

No, they don't deserve anything. If they have to qualify their successes with a biological function, they don't deserve respect.
