And you said it right there STAFF photographer. Which would mean she has a very different contract from that of a freelancer.
This information I mentioned in my previous post is 100% accurate, as I was given the contract after being approached to shoot for SG. I respectfully declined when they wouldn't change any of terms of the contract. It was a take it or leave it deal and I left it. This was 8 years ago. Now it is entirely possible that they have changed the terms of their current freelance contract, as many photographers will not sign over their rights for such a meager wage.
While fine art nudes are not the subject matter I currently shoot for a living, I absolutely will not sign over the rights to my photos without a proper rights buyout. No one should.
Since you seem to think I don't know what I'm talking about, please refer to Philip Warner vs. Suicide Girls. (Philip Warner is better known at Lithium Picnic Studios).

I posted this as a response to another comment, but feel that it's something you should be aware of.
"The photographers get screwed as well. The photographer gets $100 per shoot and is required to sign over all rights to the photographs. The photographer can't use the photos in their own portfolio. They aren't allowed to shoot any fine art nudes for any other company nor for any models. The contract keeps you from doing so for 2 years after your last shoot for the Suicide Girls website.
The photographer IS NOT an employee of the company, but is considered an independent contractor (aka freelancer)."

Ken and Tito saw that his band didn't have the proper RFID identifiers as credentialed member of the press, let alone allowed to shoot video. I've shot Roo for 7 years for the two top music mags. With over 90 photogs in the main stage pits, we don't have the space to allocate to asshats that sneak in.
