Are you dictating that handicapped persons cannot live a happy life? I think you'd be hard pressed to find one who'd rather have been aborted or even one who doesn't simply enjoy life. Non-handicapped persons have this idea that being handicapped is a terrible awful thing that makes life miserable. When it's all you know, how can it possibly be any worse than something you have no idea about. That's like saying vegetarians (who've never had meat) are incapable of enjoying food unless they have meat.

When you take that into account the only other decision influencing factors regarding abortion are somewhat selfish. I wouldn't judge anyone for making that decision. It's fucking hard and I don't know what I'd do in that situation... I just don't. But the reality is the only truly influential part of that decision is how one feels about the burden.
