That max amount is not really YOUR max though. You have no dependents and you are very young, but hey, whatever you say....

EDIT: I just looked at the online TAP award estimator. Based on the information you've shared (19 yo, independent, no kids, no income, high school diploma, no military service), it gave an estimate of $3025 per year and that's a best-case scenario.

TAP awards max out at around $1500 per semester. I don't think you've planned this all out as well as you think.

Grant awards are often very limited and usually requires very good academics. I don't know what the situation is with your parent(s), but any grant application is going to require that information too and, as young as you are, I doubt you'd qualify on your own. And no company is going to loan you any money without a co-signer at this point.

You really should speak with somebody who deals with this sort of thing. Applications for fall admission have usually already been submitted and most class registration deadlines are coming up soon.
