You're definitely using and wasting fewer reaources. For existing the way you are you have my thanks.

Edit: apparently Alaska is a ridiculous place to live and while I appreciate OP's ascetisism, it probably is offset by the attendant emmissions necessary to live in a frozen wasteland.

I've always wondered why you guys stopped covering your labeling with zealous religious purity stuff? It seems that the more stores your products appeared in, the less crazy the labels got. I'm not religious but it was totally off-the-wall and I liked it.

I get your point, it's something I'd worry about as well. You could use cloths, but of course you'd need water to clean them. I'm a big fan of silicone spatulas for scraping before I wash. You could always give a second life to discarded or secondhand bed linens, etc. At least they wouldn't end up ruining a textile economy in Africa. You collect rainwater in the warmer months, I'm assuming?

Only if you eat them both.

I have the unlucky fate of being in charge of producing bottled beverages for a small grocery store. I have some amount of leverage and would love if we could use partially plant-based or even PCR bottles, BUT I can't find a viable supplier. All the other options (tetra, glass, etc) aren't doable. Are there any references you could link me to?
