I'm a big fan of yours personally - but as a game developer from Ireland who had to emigrate to break into the industry, I'm especially happy to see developers of your caliber opening up shop in Ireland.

I know Galway is great craic and all, but what have been the main challenges to opening/running/staffing a studio there?

It's less sad than if Mary's daughter had succeeded.

Your response appearance on that show is one of the most hilariously charming vignettes I’ve ever seen. It also made me wonder if you know each other in real life! Either way - Kudos!

It was a trip watching the movie, which shows her as a compassionate person who worked for the wellbeing of the animals during their final moments and only talked about the bottom line because that was what was persuasive, to youtube videos of her touring her slaughterhouses and dispassionately describing how the twitching of a just-stunned bullock didn't mean it was alive.

I mean, I don't know what I expected from someone who designs abattoirs - I'd already read her book years previously. But it was an interesting tone shift.

Well - actual myth, combined with shady history. Ragnar probably didn't exist (or was a combination of many Viking kings), but his sons did exist and Alfred the Great certainly did.

The sons were the focus of the original saga, though. Well, the sons and Aslaug - who could be said to be the true protagonist of the original saga.
