In The Car is one of the most vivid snapshots of life I've ever heard in a song. I'm still surprised every time I listen to it at how true it is to early attempts at intimacy. Every part of that song works together really well in setting up that scene for me. Is this based on one specific broad or a just the broad spectrum?

And if it is one specific girl, do you know if she ever heard this on a tape inside her car with her new husband and she turned to him and said "I think that's me?"

I don't want to forget all your great work in bigger personal achievements, but you had a part as a bridesmaid in my favorite movie--Made of Honor. What was it like lending your talent to the greatest chick-flick ever made?

I'm a man in my mid 20s with a full beard who has on multiple occasions been compared to a lumberjack, but I proudly quote my way through that movie while choking back tears. It feels awkward to say, but even that small role compared to your eponymous TV show and awesome writing credits has a strangely big impact on my life. Thanks for your work.

Do you have data about the joint distribution of flaccid and erect length and girth? I've only ever seen marginals and I'm curious how they're related, especially using something like difference in quantiles to get at the idea of "growers and showers".

One thing that really defines your music to me is what I see as a wish to turn darkness into light. Even when the topic is bleak or the music might at first feel a little sad, I leave it feeling hopeful and optimistic. Is this a conscious decision in your songwriting, or just a set of personal attitudes that get in there no matter what?

Can't wait to see you play in Minneapolis!
