Thank you for this AMA, Doctor. My grandmother had increased Alzheimer's for 13 years up until her death, and seeing her go through it slowly but surely made it really difficult for me and my family. All we hoped for is that there would be some way to treat this terrible disease to make it slower or even prevent it. My question, since you are well knowledge on this subject, is do you think that there will ever be a cure for it to prevent it? If so, do you think that it would happen in the near future? Thank you.

Did you do any kind of prepping for this (ex: taking long walks, exercising at the gym, etc) or did you just get up and start doing it one day ala Forrest Gump? .
