In the absence of your former employer, who now holds the title of being the authority on sports?

I once read a Q&A with a North Korean defector in which he said that, in the event of a war, most of the North Korean army would rather run across enemy lines and surrender, rather than fight.

I don't really believe that, but I was wondering if you think there's any truth to the statement..?
