Kinda. Sharja= no alcohol, but in Dubai you can only get it at hotels or bars. In Ajman, you can legally buy it. This is where most of the "bootleggers" get there booze from. They sneak it back into dubai and sharja, and sell it for double. They use the word bootleggers incorrectly for people who sell alcohol, even though a bootlegger is someone who makes it, as you probably are familiar with.

Over here in Dubai they are called bootleggers. It's somewhat legal to sell alcohol here, but there are many restricitions making it very hard to come buy unless you know a dealer.

My question; How much kd do you charge for a bottle of Blue Label?

Thanks for doing this ama.

I live in the TRNC (Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus) and we have a sizeable Zimbobwaian population here in my university. It seems that students from there seem to be in complete denial of their country's poverty, political coruptness and low standard of living. The students come from higher income families so this maybe why. My question is ; Are wealthier families completley oblivious/in denial of the country's social ills? And what can be done to close the gaping income gap?
