Ah, see as a midwesterner who now lives in Alaska, I love that there’s nothing here that can hurt me by hiding in my shoe or under a rock. I hated the shaking and stomping on gloves/shoes before putting them on in case a scorpion or spider crawled in, or doing any yard work worrying about a copperhead or rattlesnake lurking around.

In Alaska, I’m gonna know if there’s a bear in my shoe long before I stick my toes in and get bit.

That last page might be my kid’s favorite, he wants me to tell him who everyone is and what their stories are.

Hmm this is really making me want a sleep study done. Because I recognize a lot of these things in myself (not the cataplexy, but a lot of others)
