Why would you ever want to re-open in the same neighborhood? If their mentality is to protest the killing of a thug by robbing you then certainly you should see the folly of reopening.

I checked Citydata.com for the crime rate of Ferguson and it does somewhat support your claim that its not a high crime area, however, the area has now become a hotbed of violence, crime and chaos. Why would you reopen under such circumstances?
