I'm in the US military now, and from everything I've heard, my buddies who fought in Iraq said the Australian soldiers were the best allies we had, hands down. The Brits were a close second, but everyone always referred to the Aussies as some ballsy guys who were more than willing to do their share of the dirty work and stay in the fight.
